UroOncology is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal soon to be launched by BioMed Central.

UroOncology is devoted to the treatment of patients with urological cancer, specifically prostate, transitional cell, renal, adrenal, testicular and penile cancer. Relevant papers in epidemiology, detection, prevention, strategies, diagnosis, treatment, follow up, quality of life, clinical trials and health economics are also considered.

The journal is aimed at surgeons, radiation oncologists, oncologists, pathologists, other healthcare professionals as well as basic researchers.

UroOncology is independent of any society, and its policy of unrestricted editorial independence will be maintained. As an open access, online journal UroOncology is ideally suited to foster the spirit of co-operation between specialties.

UroOncology operates a closed peer-review process on all manuscripts, which are reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers.
